Caffeine & Exercise: Recent medical journals have indicated that caffeine prior to exercise actually can be beneficial. Be careful of how you decide to drink your caffeine, though. The studies were done with coffee intake, which is well tolerated by many people. Stay clear of creamers or milk-based additions to your caffeine. Also, sodas and carbonated beverages are not recommended.
