how does an emergency department bill you if you have no insurance?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Luis Gonzalez
38 years experience Obstetrics and Gynecology
Like any business: Hospitals, like any business have to bill for their services. You will probably receive a bill shortly. Get in contact with their billing department. If you have no insurance, the hospital will work a payment plan with you.
