A member asked:

Why do i need reading glasses at 30 years old; that is too young, right?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

True: At age 30 your eye should be able to compensate for near needs. Beware of optometrists selling eyeglasses for profit. If you can read allright and see small things at near that you need to, then forget the eyeglasses at this age.
