How dangerous is medofloxine (ofloxacin) to take? any bad side effects expected?

OFLOXACIN IS: An antibiotic, in the quinolone category. Worst side effect is a ruptured tendon. In the elderly it can trigger agitation and anxiety/mental disturbances. Not indicated for teenagers and younger. Also, any antibiotic can cause diarrhea, which at times can be difficult to eradicate and fatal.
