A member asked:

Where on a contact lens box can i find my prescription printed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Know the numbers: Contact lenses have 3-5 numbers that define their prescription. The spherical power, which is the first number beginning with a + or - sign. If you wear toric lenses for astigmatism, the next 2 numbers will be one starting with a - sign for the power and then a number between 0 and 180 for the axis. Finally, there will be a base curve (bc) around 8.0-9.0 and a diameter number (13-14).
