Lots of reasons: Red eyes come from many causes. Allergies, viral infection, and dry eyes are the most common. Wearing contact lenses too much is another reason. Less common causes include bacterial infection or inflammatory conditions of the ocular surface. You should see an eye doctor to get evaluated.
