Rare: This used to be much more common but i haven't seen a case in my entire career. I'm not saying it doesn't happen though. Just wouldn't be first on my list for evaluation.

Agree: Tb is not common in the United States, extrapulmonary TB accounts for 20% of TB cases, and and even smaller portion wind up having genital tb. But there are sub populations in the United States where we see this at a higher prevelance, specifically immigrants that are refugees from sub saharan africa and asia. The three cases I have seen were refugees.
