A member asked:

How would you differentiate laryngitis from tracheitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Voice: Classically tracheitis would be connected with a harsh cough and maybe stridor (noisy breathing originating from the neck). Laryngitis will typically present with some form of hoarseness.
