Yes: The responsibility of the anesthesia staff is to keep you asleep during the surgery, but this is balanced by trying to maintain a good blood pressure among other things. If the anesthesia does become light, patients can wake up during their surgery, but they can quickly be put back to sleep and often the patient will not re, ember it. Thank you for the question.
