Depends: Tetralogy of fallot is a complex type of congenital heart disease. Milder subtypes have a better long term survival than the more severe subtypes. Studies have demonstrated overall actuarial 10-, 20-, 30- and 36-year survival rates of 97%, 94%, 89% and 85%, respectively.
