Urine/Blood tests: Pain with urination is commonly associated with urinary tract infection but not always uti. Diabetes/high blood sugars can put people at greater risk for UTI and blood sugar & hemoglobin A1c is valid as well as urinalysis and a urine culture and sensitivity as initial work up and possibly imaging studies depending on initial findings. At thext step is dr eval to get check it out.
