Is there available help for severe pelvic/abdominal adhesions?

Yes: Adhesions are often suspected in patients who have had prior abdominal surgery, but they are difficult to prove, unless there is bowel obstruction, diagnosed by x-ray or ct scan. Obstruction is usually treated surgically. Adhesions can sometimes cause pain in patients who have irritable bowel syndrome, which can be treated with medications and dietary management.
