Malrotated usually.: The bowel can be malrotated in situs inversus cases. That is of little clinical significance in the adult, but may become important if you develop digestive symptoms and/or require abdominal surgery.

Yes: It can be completely reversed which is a mirror image or it can be partial which then results in a form of malrotation which can result in volvulus or twisting of the intestine. This needs surgical correction.
