How long does a hospital legally have, on receipt of a request, to send me my personal medical records?

? Time limit: I am not sure whether the hospitals have a time limit. But they will send the records in a reasonable amount of time. If some one needs records urgently for legal or crime solving purposes the hospitals will expedite the records.
