Autoantibodies.: Your body is producing antibodies directed against its own tissues and is likely at increased risk for the development of an autoimmune disease such as lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, thyroiditis, vitiligo, infammatory bowel dis or pernicious anemia from gastritis. Lac can cause clotting disorders and miscariages, but is not in and of itself an important predictor of clinical outcomes.
