Prenatal care: General ob/gyns do all routine prenatal testing - OB profile lab, genetic screening, diabetes screening. Many also do ultrasound exams. For more complex evaluation and testing they may refer you to a perinatologist.

Both.: Obstetricians can order and interpret most prenatal tests. Maternal-fetal medicine specialists (perinatologists) can order, perform and/or interpret all prenatal tests.
