Uterine rupture.: A thinned (presumably from a prior cesarean section scar) lower uterus can lead to rupture that can prove catastrophic or even lethal for fetus and/or mother. Consult with a maternal-fetal medicine specialist if that is your diagnosis and avoid labor if clinically possible/desirable.
