Can using rogaine (minoxidil) on a receding hairline actually make it worse?

Rogaine (minoxidil): I don't think so. Rogaine may improve the hair line but, it will not replace hair transplant.

No: In clinical studies, rogaine (minoxidil) produced the most hair re-growth when applied to the vertex of the scalp. Using it on a receding frontal hairline isn't going to be harmful, but it may not be particularly helpful.
