A member asked:

Rogaine (minoxidil) says on the packaging that it only works for vertex area and not frontal hairline. does it really not work on the front hairline?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

True: Rogaine (minoxidil) has its main effect on the vertex of the scalp. It works poorly if at all on the receding scalp line of balding males. Oral Finasteride has the same short coming.
