It depends: Uveitis is a broad term that can refer to inflammation inside the eye in various locations. Depending on where it is located, the treatment is generally some form of steroids. If it is due to a rheumatologic disorder, there may be other immune system inhibiting medications used in treatment. If it is due to an infection, certain antibiotics or antiviral would be used.
