Brittle bones: Osteoporosis is a loss of the density of mineralization of your bones, making them more brittle. Your bones break more easily as a result. People have it many years before they can get hunchbacked. Once they have gotten a hunchback deformity, they usually have multiple compression fractures of their spine. Also, not all people with osteoporosis get a hunchback. Many get hip or wrist fractures.
