I would not smoke it: Lobelia, which is sometimes called pokeweed, is smokable but i can't find reliable info on safety of smoking phytolacca & advise caution. Pokeweed is an interesting plant that can be toxic but also has potential medicinal uses. Phytolacca is used in folk medicine for cancer, rheumatism, dysentery, asthma & dermatitis.
