Avoid thrush...: Thrush is a common fungal infection that can occur with use of steroid inhalers. To avoid this infection, you need to rinse your mouth and spit it out after each steroid inhaler use. If you rinse and swallow it, you can get thrush in your throat, esophagus, etc. Thrush is a treatable infection but it can be mostly avoided by following these instructions!

Thrush: The fungal infection that dr. Murphy mentions, thrush, is a minor annoyance that many infants develop. If you get it it is easily treated with a mild antifungal medication. Mostly i answered this question to post a picture of what thrush looks like.
