Physiology, Emotion: I can answer the second example more easily than the first. Panic attacks can be triggered by certain emotions, so it makes sense that high levels of frustration serve as a "trigger" for you. I have not heard of anyone having a panic attack due to temperature, but I have seen this happen with other specific physical states. Again, for you there is something about temperature that triggers attacks.

Panic: Frustration & temperature changes are few of the many triggers for panic attacks, due to excitability of the sympathetic nervous system with high adrenaline in your body that can intensify anxiety (fight-flight response).
