Sure : Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is designed to make your period lighter and shorter. If you want to have a heavier and longer cycle, for whatever reason, switching to a traditional birth control pill would certainly be an option. There is no health benefit though to having a longer and heavier period.
