During last days: Birth control pills may have 4 or 7 pills at the end of the cycle. Once your are on those pills, you may see a menstrual period. It may not start exactly the day you start the white pills, it may not end exactly the day you start your new pack, and you may not have a menstrual period at all. Whenever you interrupt taking bcp, you are likely to experience a hormone withdrawal bleeding.

Not necessarily...: Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) contains 24 light pink tablets and 4 white tablets. Your menstrual period will start at some point during the white tablets but not necessarily the very first day. Best wishes!
