Bpv: You could be having a condition called benign positional vertigo or acute labyrinthitis. Both usual resolve on its own but it should be evaluated if not improving.

Dizziness spells: Intermittent dizziness has many causes. Think about what makes it worse. Does bending over, turning or looking up make it worse? It is probably peripheral vertigo in that case. Does climbing stairs make it worse? It may have something to do with your heart in that case. Are there any recent medicine changes? Medicines can cause this symptom. Those are some examples.
