I have a small hard pink bump on my leg that won't go away. it was a sore couple of years ago. sometimes it is more pink than others. any ideas?

That small bump may just be scar tissue from an earlier infection. We can also get what we call dermatofibroma's in the skin that are usual small lumps right under the skin and gradually get larger. These do not turn into cancer but sometimes can be bothersome and be removed.
