A member asked:

What are the side effects of physical abuse that doctors might see?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple: Bruising, fractures, abrasions. But there are also psychological factors such as withdrawal, fear, anxiety, severe depression, etc.. But it is important not to jump the gun simply because it might "seem" as if physical abuse is occurring. It requires teamwork between the physician and the patient to truly get to the bottom of physical abuse.
