Why do you get tired when you have anemia?

Decreased RBC: Red blood cells (rbc) deliver oxygen through your body. Anemia is a decreased amount of rbcs. The patient is tired because their body isn't getting enough oxygen distributed throughout its tissues.

RBCs contain: Hemoglobin and HGB carries oxygen from lungs to all tissues of the body. Less efficient oxygen delivery = fatigue.
