Gentle: As drs. Brown and westfried said, low impact exercise is better. Stretching exercises are particularly good, especially ones that involve the arms and chest. Chest expansion and arm movement help to encourage fluid movement out of the legs. Talk to your lymphedema therapist (if you have one) for recommendations. If you don't have a therapist, try to find one.
