Dysphagia/difficulty swallowing causes?

Varies: Dysphagia is a symptom, not a diagnosis. You need to find the underlying cause which is causing the trouble with swallowing. It can be a disorder of muscle, nerves, coordination, a pouch, reflux, cancer or any of a number of more specific things. There will be an examiniation as well as one or more swallowing studies involved.
