Not always: Depends on the extent and severity of adrenal insufficiency. Isolated cortisol defiency usually presents with headaches, low bs, hypotension and sometimes abdominal pain. Extensive ai that involves the loss of cells that produce aldosterone on the other hand can lead to electrolyte derangement such as low sodium and high pottasium.
