Kidney damage: The glomeruli (tiny filters in the kidney) becoming damaged in nephrotic syndrome primarily permit the kidney to leak protein, however damage also can permit leakage of glucose/sugar and hence glycosuria.

Should not: It will occur only if you have diabetes with high blood sugar.
