Abnormal urine study: Glycosuria is presence of glucose (sugar) in urine.Commonly found in uncontrolled diabetes, there are other rarer causes(eg. Type 2 renal tubular acidosis).Albuminuria is presence of protein in urine, and has many causes including diabetes.Because protein in the urine can cause or be a marker for kidney damage, it is very important for people with either of these to keep in close contact w doctor.

Gycosuria: Glycosuria is sugar in the urine and albuminuria is protein in the urine. These are important signs that require a doctor to evaluate you and explain the causes, which are varied.
