Together is serious: Glycosuria means sugar in the urine. It happens when the sugar level in the blood is high >180 mg/dl. It is reported in crosses (+, ++, +++, ++++) the higher the crosses the worst the sugar in blood. Ketones appear in urine and blood when the liver is burning fat like in the state of fasting, or when diabetes is complicated with ketoacidosis ( is a serious complication of type i diabetes).
