A member asked:

How would one deal with radiation burns from cancer treatments?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Topical creams help: Avoid sun exposure to the area. If your physician advises, add thin layers of aloe, hydrocortisone, or silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) creams. If the area is moist (like in the groin area) keep it dry by wearing loose or no clothing over the area. Don't scratch! never go to a tanning bed!
