A member asked:

How can one get screened for intestinal cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Colonoscopy, imaging: Colon is the commonest site of intestinal cancers and screening can take any and all of the following forms: fecal occult blood testing, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and barium enema. It is recommended that a screening colonoscopy be done at age 50, sooner if there is family history of early cancer.
