Mold is a huge allergen for me - can anything be done other than using antihistamines to help with this allergy?

Avoid, Meds, Shots: Mold allergy can best be treated by a combination of avoidance, medications and immunotherapy. In addition to antihistamines, you might want to use decongestants, prescription nasal sprays, or a medication like singulair (montelukast) that decreases inflammation without being a steroid. Avoidance means cleaning indoor sources of exposure, and immunotherapy is specific injections of mold extracts.
