How can i help someone who has bouts of uncontrollable crying, indecision, panic etc. over a key professional decision?

Vitamin therapy: I know that this sounds weird, but emotions are initiated by the "automatic" brain. High calorie malnutrfition causes this part of the brain to become too easily activated. I treat this with intravenous vitamins but i would suggest that this person cleans up diet, especially sugar and sees a nutritionist doc.It is truly amazing to see the recovery if taken to heart and followed.

Just be a friend: Obviously you won't be able to make the decision for the person. How about suggesting taking a walk in a green space? Doing something pleasurable with the person. How about watching a comedy. It the person is that intense - s/he could probably use a break from all the intense emotions.
