Not helpful: Chalazia are the end product of the body's attempt to defeat a stye. They are an encysted nodule in the lid. Tobramycin and other antibiotics will not enter the chalazion so they will have no effect. Some chalazia spontaneously disappear, but if yours is obvious or troublesome, your ophthalmologist can suggest in office ways to get rid of it.
