A member asked:

Can you tell me about good experience in treating a chalazion with tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly useful: I commonly use tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) and find it is a useful part of the treatment. The gold standard for treatment though is warm compresses to the chalazion 15 minutes per day 4 times per day. Tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) can help, but it is best in combination with warm compresses. Usually the combination is 75% successful.
