Minimal: Most common side effects are sedation and wt gain. As with all antidepressants there are many potential side effects, but most are temporary. If you suspect something may be related to the medication talk to your doctor.

Remeron (mirtazapine): Common are dry mouth, constipation, increase appetite & sleep. Less common are headaches & upset stomach. Rare are agitation, confusion, hair loss, blood changes, rashes, liver abnormalities, & suicidal behaviors.
