Side effects of oxycodone for chronic pain?

See answer below: Constipation is going to be a big one. Dependence is another. Pain is a common part of life, and taking it away completely with oxycodone lowers the pain threshold which ultimately makes people feel more vulnerable and less tolerant to common, nonpathologic pains and aches. I would be very careful not to use oxycodone for chronic pain as other alternatives are better fitted for this purpose.

See below: All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most common side effects persist or become bothersome when using oxycodone/aspirin: constipation; dizziness; drowsiness; heartburn; lightheadedness; nausea; stomach upset; vomiting.
