No: Theoretically it could, but there is no data in the medical literature to say that it does in real life. Even if it could, you should not ignore that abnormal glucose tolerance test result. If diagnosed with gestational diabetes, regardless of the reason, work to control the sugars by meeting with a dietician, exercising a bit (walking), and working with your doctors.
