A member asked:

What factors are responsible for a low glomerular rate if i have diabetes nephropathy?

Protein Spill: Diabetic nephropathy dmages the kidneys and causes massive amounts of protein to spill in the urine. The more protein that spills, the worse the kidney disease becomes and your glomerular rate worsens. Therefore the most important thing to do is control your diabetes as this measure wil protect your kidneys.
