I'm taking lithium carbonate and trifluoperazine, ok?

Depends: Lithium is prescribed for bipolar disorder and certain types of depression. Trifluoperazine is an antipsychotic prescribed mainly for psychotic disorders like schizophrenia, or depression where there are psychotic symptoms. The 2 medications can be combined when 1 alone is not helping.Trifluoperazine is an older medication and is possibly more likely to cause side effects than newer medication.
