Not Unusual: Deexedrine can cause insomnia, especially if taken later in the day. Increased anxiety, irritability, and moodiness can also occur. Other physical seide effects include headaches, stomach complaints, and decreased appetitie.

Dexedrine: Per Drugs.Com, over 10% of people taking Dexedrine may develop insomnia. It should not be taken in the evening as a result.
