Rebound Headaches: Rebound ha occurs when pain meds(triptans, opiates, nsaids, ergotamines) are taken to frequently. The overuse of these medications causes a common migraine to transform into something called chronic daily headache. It is thought that taking a medication more than 15 times per month can lead to rebound ha's. The treatment is simple-all use of medications to stop headaches must to discontinued.
