Wrong diagnosis?: Were any of the doctors you went to dermatologists? Did any of them do tests to make sure it really is ringworm? If anti-ringworm creams aren't working, chances are it's not ringworm. See a dermatologist, get a proper diagnosis, and then a proper treatment.

Agree with Dr. E: If treatment for ringworm did not work, it is unlikely to be ringworm and you ought to consult a dermatologist. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.

Resistance : The best thing to do is request a referral to a dermatologist since this physician has tried 4 creams .It still may be ringworm as they are bedoming more resistent and some simple looking skin ringworms may require oral agents. Some skin issues such as Granuloma Annulare and Nummulare eczema may be confused with ringworm.Dermatology can biopsy if necessary and treat as needed.
